A driver in Letterkenny was arrested after speeding while three times over the drink driving limit, gardaí report.
The motorist was speeding at 160km/hr.
The detection was made by the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit in recent days, among other offences.
Gardaí clocked another driver speeding at 149km/hr and took to Facebook to issue this warning:
“Never drive while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. slow down and arrive alive!”
