Planning application lodged for new classroom at St Johnston school

PLANNING permission has been sought to construct a new classroom at a school in east Donegal.

A planning application was lodged this week with Donegal County Council for proposed works at Castletown National School, St Johnston.

Castletown NS is a two-teacher school.

A planning was made in the name of Castletown NS principal Liesel Toner.

The planned extension will comprise of an additional classroom, a set room and a new entrance with connection to existing services and all associated site works.

Donegal County Council say that a decision is due on October 1, 2020.
