Pramerica is to address its 1,700 employees on the future of the company this afternoon.

There is growing concern among the employees at the Letterkenny plant over the contents of the statement which will be given by a video conference call by the company’s vice-president and chief information officer Stacey Goodman.

Ms Goodman emailed all employees in recent days with an outlining letter informing them of today’s webcam address.

She said that changes within the company in the past year have been challenging to the company’s plans to move forward.

She added “The uncertainty that accompanies rapid change makes it even more important that we align our decisions with the long term goals we have established to support our customers and employees.”

There is local speculation that some jobs may be impacted by the changes but this has not been confirmed.

The video call is to take place to all employees at 1pm.

We will bring you more on this breaking news story as we get it.
