A water tanker has been brought in to Carrigart after a water outage struck the area yesterday.
Some residents in Cranford, Carrick, Aughalatty and Carrigart have been without water overnight following a burst water main.
Repairs are continuing today and supplies are expected to be restored by 6pm.
Irish Water has made an alternative water supply available at Carrigart for elevated properties for the duration of the works.
It is recommended that any members of the public who obtain water from a tanker or bowser boil the water before use.
