THERE have been 34 new cases of coronavirus in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours, the Department of Health has confirmed.
There have been no further deaths linked to COVID-19 in the same period.
There have now been 6,505 cases of the virus diagnosed in the North of Ireland.
The majority of new cases of Coronavirus confirmed within the last 24 hours were in the Mid and East Antrim council area.
There have been 294 cases diagnosed in the region in the past week, figures show.
