Irish Water has commenced road resurfacing works today on the N13 main Letterkenny to Derry Road.
The works between Veagh and the N13/14 Manor roundabout are due to last four weeks from 24th August until 18th September.
Irish Water has said that traffic management cones and signs will be in place in the N13 Letterkenny-bound hard shoulder for the project.
The company also confirmed that wo-way traffic will be maintained as much as possible and always during the day. However, in some locations two-way traffic cannot be maintained and therefore, certain resurfacing works will be conducted at night, outside of normal working hours. Local access to properties will be maintained at all times.
Meanwhile, works are progressing on the Joe Bonnar road in Letterkenny to replace approximately 240 metres of sewer.
