Sadness at death of former Garda Chief Superintendent

The death has taken place of Donegal’s former Garda Chief Superintendent Sean Ginty.

Mr Ginty, of Glencar Road, Letterkenny, passed away earlier.

His remains are reposing at his late residence.

His funeral Mass in St Eunan’s Cathedral at 3pm on Wednesday August 26th, followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

Due to HSE and Government guidelines, his wake and funeral are private to family and close friends only.
