A brand new initiative will entice shoppers to buy Donegal-made products and services this Christmas.
#BuyDonegalWeekend aims to highlight the fantastic range of Donegal products and services available and to encourage people to buy them.
#BuyDonegalWeekend will take place from 6th – 8th November 2020 and will offer consumers a great opportunity to buy a special Donegal gift in time for Christmas.
A website and marketing campaign will be launched alongside the initiative in the coming months.
The project, led by the Donegal County Council Economic Development Team, is set to tap into the special love for Donegal that is felt among friends and families living around the world as well as in other parts of Ireland. Local businesses will be using their connections with the diaspora around the world to encourage support for the shopping weekend.
Businesses across Donegal are being invited to express their interest in participating in the campaign before Friday 4th September.
