An appeal is underway after a handbag was stolen from a hair and beauty salon in Letterkenny.
Gardaí are investigating the burglary at the Saffron Hair and Beauty Clinic at the Canal Road Complex on Friday 28th August.
The handbag, which belonged to the owner of the business, was taken from behind a counter sometime between 9am and 3.40pm. The blue ‘Fossil’ bag contained a large quantity of cash, bank cards, car keys and some sentimental personal belongings.
Gardaí say early indications show that two people may have been involved in the theft.
The authorities are looking to speak to two people who were seen on CCTV in the area on that day. A male and female were seen on camera at around 4pm, and gardaí say they wish to speak with them to possibly rule them out of the investigation.
