Spate of burglaries overnight in Letterkenny

Gardai in Letterkenny are investigating a number of burglaries in the town overnight.

At least three premises have been hit.

Cooney’s Garden Centre on Pearse Road and Hair International were targeted.

Ricky’s Hair and Makeup was also broken into.

The businesses had their front doors smashed in during the break-ins.

Gardai are at the scene of the incidents and forensic examinations are due to take place.

It is not known what was taken in the raids.

Two males have been arrested and are being questioned at Letterkenny Garda Station.
