106 new cases of coronavirus have been reported by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland today.
Northern Ireland has recorded 530 new cases of the virus in the past seven days.
There are three patients in intensive care units in Northern Ireland hospitals, with 17 inpatients in total.
Data on Covid-19 related deaths is not issued by the Department of Health at weekends. The death toll in the region stands at 564.
Meanwhile, a prisoner at Maghaberry Prison has become the first inmate in Northern Ireland to test positive for the virus. The man, who has been isolated from other prisoners, tested positive for coronavirus after being remanded into custody on Thursday.
