THE Glenswilly GAA club have imposed a temporary suspension of activity in a Covid-19 precaution.

In a circular last night, club members were advised that all club activities, including training and games, are suspended until further notice.

Glenswilly were due to face Cloughaneely in the Northern Regional Board Minor League Division 2 final this evening at Pairc Naomh Columba.

That game has now been postponed and will be re-fixed in due course.

Meanwhile, Mulroy Academy have confirmed that a Covid-19 test for a club member, which forced a similar course of action on Saturday evening, has returned negative.

Football activity for Mulroy Academy will resume from today at 9am, the club has confirmed.

Mulroy Academy said: “Thanks to everyone for your understanding and patience. Any parents with any concerns or enquires in relation to Covid situations can contact the club’s Covid officer Peter Cullen in complete confidence.”
