Court for driver nabbed doing 168kph at Burt

A driver caught doing 168kph in the Burt area is due before the courts.

The Buncrana Roads Policing Unit detected the motorist yesterday evening in the Burt area who was travelling well in excess of the speed limit.

The driver was subsequently arrested for the offence of dangerous driving.

A Garda spokesperson said “A Court appearance will follow.

“Please do not speed! By taking your time on the roads and having consideration for your own safety and that of others you can save many lives.”
