Ryan McHugh was named as man of the match as Kilcar reached a first Donegal 2017 with a five-point win over Gaoth Dobhair. The Towney-based side were 0-14 to 1-5 winners over Gaoth Dobhair in an absolute washout in Letterkenny. McHugh put in a fine showing and believes his team decided to keep possession as play a slower game than normal to get themselves over the line.
