It seems as though Mervyn O’Donnell’s time as Gaoth Dobhair manager is coming to an end.
O’Donnell saw his side defeated in the semi-final of the Donegal SFC this evening against Kilcar on a 0-14 to 1-5 scoreline.
Afterwards, O’Donnell spoke to Damien Ó Dónaill of RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta and admitted that it was “probably” the end of his tenure, with the 2018 Ulster SFC Club title won in Omagh the highlight, as well as stressing the club will be in good hands with continued success at underage level.

Tá sé fógraithe ag bainisteoir @gaothdobhairclg go bhfuil sé críochnaithe leis an fhoireann tráthnóna inniu.
“Bhí turas iontach ag na lads agus ba cheart daofa a bheith bródúil.”
