Robert Emmets has become the next local GAA club to suspend activities as a Covid-19 precaution.

The Castlefinn club announced that all club activities have been ceased until further notice due to a confirmed case of Covid-19 within the club.

Activities have been put on hold pending further tests, the club said.

A social media statement from the club said: “We do this as a precautionary measure and to protect the wider community. We will keep you updated on all developments.”
