Motorists are being advised to take care on the roads this Wednesday morning following a night of heavy rain in parts of Donegal.
A Status Yellow rain warning remains in place for the county until noon, with more heavy downpours expected this morning.
There is a risk of localised flooding due to rainfall of up to 25 to 40 mm.
The advice from AA Roadwatch is: “Remember to slow down on wet roads and leave plenty of space between your vehicle and the one in front as it takes longer to stop. If driving, be extra mindful of pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.”
