Up to 30 cases of Covid have been detected at a Donegal nursing home.
The outbreak has occurred amongst both patients and staff at Brindley Manor Nursing home in Convoy.
The HSE is understood to be aware of the situation.
It is also believed that the health authority are expected to offer various supports to the nursing home to help them cope with the outbreak.
No further details are available at this time.
It follows another outbreak of more than 30 cases at a Co Laois Nursing home.
