SEARCHES are continuing in the Horn Head area today for missing Cian Langelaan.

An operation was mounted this afternoon involving various emergency services, including An Garda Síochána and the Mountain Rescue.

The 27-year-old has been missing from the Falcarragh area since September 24.

Searches have been mounted by family and friends across Donegal in the hope of locating Cian.

A bag with his belongings was found on Dunfanaghy Pier and there have been a number of possible sightings of Cian, who was last seen at Upper Main Street, Letterkenny around lunchtime on Thursday the 24th of September.

Cian is described as being approximately 5 foot 8 inches in height with a medium build, sandy hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and black boots.

Authorities focussed their searches around Horn Head while friends and family members have combed the county.

Anyone with information on Cian’s whereabouts are asked to contact Milford Garda Station in Donegal on 074 9153060, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.
