Seven more people have died of Covid-19 related illness Northern Ireland, the Department of Health confirmed today.
The latest report brings the death toll to 598.
A further 863 new cases of the virus have been detected in Northern Ireland. 163 of the cases are in the Derry City-Strabane region, where the incidence rate now stands at 970 per 100,000 people over the last seven days.
6,286 new positive cases of the virus have been detected in Northern Ireland in the past week.
There are currently 150 patients in hospital with Covid-19, with 23 people with Covid-19 in intensive care.
