Fifteen patients with Covid-19 are currently receiving care at Letterkenny University Hospital.
The figure, reported at 8pm Tuesday, has decreased from the 21 patients recorded onsite on Monday night.
Three patients have been recorded as critical and are in intensive care. Another patient with a suspected case of Covid-19 is also in ICU.
There are a further six patients at the hospital who are suspected of having the virus. A double-test approach is being take at LUH during the pandemic.
As of last night, Letterkenny had the fourth highest number of Covid-19 patients in the country.
Concerns surround Co. Cavan, where the Covid-19 incidence rate has surged to the highest in Ireland. Cavan Hospital currently has the highest number of Covid patients onsite.
The number of Covid-19 hospitalisations in Ireland has steadied at 230 – the same figure as Monday night.
