CONOR Orr won the Ardmore Handicap Hurdle this afternoon at Tramore.

Orr, a 5lb claimer, won aboard the 9/2 shot.

Orr had three-quarters of a length to spare on the James Dullea-trained four-year-old.

Orr was held up and fifth at the half-way mark on the grey.

The Rathmullan man managed to wriggle free and pressed the leader before taking over two furlongs from home.

Orr and Colonel Lesley won from the 6/1 shot Caddy Shack.

It was Orr’s 10th win of the year.

Trainer Dullea said: “I thought Conor gave him a brilliant ride.

“It’s been a while since our last winner, it was before the lockdown.

“We haven’t had many runners and our summer was quiet. They are just coming to hand in the last fortnight.”
