Covid cases at Shamrock Rovers see Finn Harps game postponed

FINN Harps’ game against Shamrock Rovers – scheduled for Monday – has been postponed.

Rovers today confined that Aaron Greene has returned a positive Covid-19 test.

Rovers player Jack Byrne tested positive while on duty with the Republic of Ireland and is self-isolating at home.

Several other Rovers players, who were deemed as close contacts of Greene, will have to isolate.

Rovers’ next three games – against Derry City, Finn Harps and St Patrick’s Athletic – have all been postponed.

“A new fixture schedule will be announced in due course,” the League of Ireland says.

Harps’ next game will now be on Saturday-week when Ollie Horgan’s team travel to face Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
