Heavy rain will bring risks of flooding and disruption to Donegal later this week, according to the latest alert from Met Eireann.
A Status Yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Donegal and the entire west coast from Wednesday night until Friday morning.
Forecasters say: “Heavy and persistent rain overnight Wednesday through to Friday morning will lead to some flooding and disruption. Accumulations of 30mm to 60mm are expected widely, with higher values in mountainous regions.”

Today (Tuesday) and tonight will also bring risks of hail and thunderstorms to the north west as Ireland is impacted by the remnants of tropical storm Epsilon.
