Fire extinguisher set off in Ballybofey burglary

A derelict premises was targetted in a burglary in Ballybofey last week.

An investigation is underway into the incident on Navenny Street, which occurred between 8pm on Tuesday the 27th of October and 11am on Wednesday the 28th of October.

Entry was gained after a side door to the premises was forced open.

Nothing was taken from the building, however gardaí report that a fire extinguisher was set off.

An appeal is underway for anyone who witnessed the burglary, or who can assist in any way with this investigation, to please contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
