The number of patients with Covid-19 at Letterkenny University Hospital has risen to 19 in the past day, HSE figures show.
The figure, recorded at 8pm Wednesday night, is up from 14 on Tuesday.
No patients with Covid-19 are currently recorded in intensive care. There are three critical care beds now available onsite.
Meanwhile, there are positive signs that the Covid-19 rates in Donegal are on the decrease.
Nphet yesterday reported 16 new cases of the virus in Donegal., while the 14-day incidence rate has fallen to 286.4 per 100,000.
There were 444 newly confirmed cases of Covid-19 nationwide and eight more deaths were reported yesterday.
