“It will be worth it when we all meet, granny and grandpa, you’ve been great!”
A group of Donegal pupils have created a motivational video for the older generation during this difficult year.
As part of the YOURS Intergenerational Project, pupils at Donoughamore NS Castlefin recorded short poem and song as a positive message to older people and grandparents.
The pupils are missing their relatives and neighbours dearly, but this video reminds us why our safety efforts are so important.
Sharleen Tinney, Project Co-ordinator at YOURS Intergenerational Project, issued a huge thank you to Principal Ms. Wendy Long (senior room) and the Vice Principal Ms. Gillian Borland (junior room) for their work on the videos: “These pupils know how important it is to wash our hands. A true inspiration to all.”
