Ten more people in Northern Ireland have died after contracting Covid-19, according to the Department of Health.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in the North now stands at 791.
There have been a further 471 new cases of the virus confirmed in the past 24 hours.
Thirty-one of the new cases are in the Derry-Strabane region, where there has been a 70% reduction in the Covid-19 infection rate in the six weeks since restrictions were introduced.
Pubs, cafes, restaurants and hotels in the council area were closed two and half weeks before the rest of Northern Ireland’s hospitality industry in a bid to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the north west.
