Ten people with Covid-19 have been hospitalised in Letterkenny University Hospital in the past day.

There are now 38 people with the virus receiving care at the hospital.

HSE data from 8pm on Sunday shows that one of the patients is critical and is in intensive care.

Letterkenny University Hospital currently has the second highest number of Covid-19 patients across Ireland’s acute hospitals.

Data from last night showed that there was one critical care bed remaining at LUH, along with four general care beds available.
