Another 11 people have sadly died as a result of Covid with a further 366 new cases reported today.
A total of 34 of these cases were in Donegal.
There are 449 confirmed Covid-19 patients in hospital, with 44 in ICU, 35 of whom are on ventilators.
A total of 41 of these cases are in Letterkenny University Hospital.
The number of people being treated in intensive care units has increased by one since yesterday evening to 34.
There has now been a total of 1,995 Covid-19 related deaths in Ireland, as well as 68,686 confirmed cases.
Of the cases notified today, 169 are men while 197 are women.
61 per cent are under 45 years of age, with the median age being 38 years old.
The remaining 146 cases are spread across 20 other counties.
