Thirteen new Covid-19 cases in Donegal; no deaths and 252 cases nationally

THIRTEEN new Covid-19 cases have been confirmed in Donegal today.

The figure is a reduction from the daily figure over recent days.

Nationally, there were no further Covid-19 related deaths and 252 new cases confirmed.

Of the cases notified today: 124 are men / 128 are women; 65% are under 45 years of age; the median age is 34 years old.

88 are in Dublin, 26 in Cork, 21 in Kilkenny, 16 in Louth, 16 in Mayo and the remaining 85 are spread across 20 counties

Donegal’s 14-day incidence rate per 100,000 population remains the highest in the country at 227.4 while there were still 36 Covid-19 patients in Letterkenny University Hospital at 8pm on Sunday.

Ireland’s death toll is now 2,022 and there have been 70,711 confirmed cases.

Earlier today, there were three further Covid-19 related deaths and 280 new cases in Northern Ireland.

Since the outbreak, there have been 936 deaths and 50,064 positive cases.
