Four people have been arrested following drugs seizures in the Letterkenny area.
Gardaí seized over €28,000 worth of drugs in searches at properties in the district in the past week.
The divisional drugs unit uncovered a haul of cannabis with an estimated street value of €21,000 and cocaine with an estimated street value of €7,000.
Cash, mobile phones and drugs paraphernalia were also seized as part of the operation.
Gardaí have confirmed that four arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
It comes after approximately €196,000 of drugs was seized in Sligo over the weekend.
Sgt Eunan Walsh has today appealed for people to be on alert for drugs-related activity in the community.
“If you see anything suspicious in your neighborhood, maybe your house next door has cars coming and going at strange times in the night. There may be obvious reasons for it, but there may not be. Do not be afraid to contact your local garda station or the garda confidential line.”
