Coronavirus NI: Twelve deaths and 391 new cases

Twelve more people have died with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health reports.

Nine of the deaths have occurred in the past day.

A further 391 new cases of the virus have been detected in the past 24 hours, including 37 in the Derry/Strabane region.

The Department of Health death toll now stands at 927, while government statistics agency Nisra has recorded 1,301 Covid-related deaths up to 20th November. Nisra’s figures are based on deaths where Covid-19 is mentioned on a person’s death certificate.
