SCOIL Naomh Fiachra, Illistrin held their annual fundraiser for St Vincent de Paul earlier than usual this year.

In previous years families and staff donated food items to the local chapter of St Vincent de Paul.

Due to Covid 19 regulations this was not possible in 2020. Instead cash donations were brought into the school and€2,150 was raised.

To get into the Christmas mood pupils and staff wore their Christmas jumpers to school.

An Art Competition was held and pupils designed their own Christmas jumpers.

Prizes were sponsored by Kelly’s Centra, Mountain Top.

Pictured are Mr Kilcoyne and Ms Ferry presenting the cheque to members of the local St Vincent de Paul committee.

Pupils from a ‘pod’ in Ms Ferry’s class are also pictured wearing their Christmas jumpers and displaying their art entries.
