A Letterkenny couple has once again revealed a dazzling lights display at their home this Christmas.

And if you think the Blacks’ home is stunning on the outside – wait til you see the amount of decorations they have inside!

Watch the video tour here:

Gerard and Dorothy Black have been lighting up their home for many years and creating special memories for their family. Gerard looks after the lights, while Dorothy decks the halls inside. Every corner and every room in the house is covered with decorations, they even have Christmas toilet paper!

This year is a little different with restrictions, but the goodwill factor remains.

The couple is inviting people to come and see their lights from outside and donate to an outdoor box to support the BUMBLEance Children’s Ambulance Service.

“My Dad and Mum go all out for Christmas every year and do amazing work,” said their daughter Ciara.

Every other year, the lights switch-on would have been celebrated with a big family party with treats, arts and crafts and presents from Dorothy and Gerard. The gatherings may have been curtailed this time, but the pandemic clearly didn’t dull the family’s Christmas spirit!
