GARDAÍ have issued a fresh appeal for information on missing Cian Langelaan to coincide with Missing Persons Day.

This event is an annual day of commemoration and it takes place on the first Wednesday in December each year.

Missing Persons Day complements the existing International Missing Children’s Day and has a number of objectives.

It commemorates those who have gone missing and recognises the lasting trauma for their families and friends.

It also draws attention to open or unsolved missing persons cases.

With this in mind, An Garda Síochána have reminded the public about Cian Langelaan who is still missing.

The last confirmed sighting of Cian was at the end of September in the Hornhead area.

A spokesperson said: “We are appealing to everyone to keep an eye out for him as they go about their daily business.

“If anyone has any information in relation to the whereabouts of Cian, they are asked to call Milford Gardaí on 074-9153060 or contact any Garda Station.”
