Patrick Gildea Hairdressing has been awarded “The Best Hair Salon in Ulster” by Ireland’s leading Celebrity Magazine RSVP – for the sixth year in a row!

The timing could not be better for the Letterkenny salon; not only for this prestigious salon but also for County Donegal during what has been a difficult year for the community.

Along with the title of Best Salon in Ulster; the talented Patrick Gildea Hairdressing Team were also awarded Best Stylist and Best Colourist in Ulster.

Principal Stylist Victoria Harris; was crowned Best Stylist in Ulster.

Victoria has been hairdressing for 25 years and has a wonderful connection with her guests who travel from all over the province for her magic hands.

Victoria loves all aspects of hairdressing; but she has a real passion for cutting- especially short cuts. Her focus on delivering the Patrick Gildea Hairdressing professional, luxurious experience means that her guests are happy to join a waiting list so that she can transform them.

Victoria said: “When I received the phone call; I was so shocked I didn’t believe it! I am so so happy that I have been selected as the Best Stylist in Ulster. I love hairdressing; it does not feel like work to me and I am just honoured to be named in RSVP Magazine. Thank you to all our lovely guests who trust me with their hair”.

Artistic Director Elaine Crown was named as the Best Colourist in Ulster.

This coveted title is well deserving to the Head of Education at Patrick Gildea Hairdressing.

Elaine has been hairdressing for 14 years; she continually pushes and upskills to ensure that she is at the fore of hairdressing trends. She loves everything about colour and has an in-depth personalised consultation with all her guests, considering their natural features, skin tone and eye colour. Her guests love her and travel from all over the country for her experience.

Elaine said: “Thank you RSVP for this amazing award. I really can’t believe it; I’m still a bit shocked! Anyone that knows me knows that hairdressing makes me happy! I love colour and connecting with guests in the salon. Thank you to all my guests who give me the opportunity to do beautiful hair.”

Commenting on the success Patrick said “We are so proud to be selected as RSVP’s Best Salon in Ulster for the sixth year running and as a team we are beaming with pride for Victoria and Elaine’s success- what fantastic recognition for both Elaine and Victoria who shows great passion, commitment and exceptional talent”.
