BONAGEE United held a physically-distanced presentation of awards for their Ulster Senior League team at training on Thursday night.

Jason Gibson’s squad are back in training in the hope that USL can resume early in 2021.

In the Covid-19 interrupted 2019/20 season, Bonagee United won the Donegal News USL League Cup and finished runners-up in the bmcsports.ie Ulster Senior League.

Ryain Rainey – who was also named as the USL Player of the Year – scooped the Players Player of the Year award. The former Wolverhampton Wanderers youth was also the top scorer in a stellar campaign.

There was a joint Player of the Year award, with the ever-dependable defensive duo of Mark Harkin and Gareth Breslin sharing the prize.
