Nine more people have died with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health reports.
397 new cases have been detected in the past 24 hours.
There has now been 1,059 Covid-19 related deaths in Northern Ireland.
Meanwhile, two schools in Derry have told pupils they can stay at home in the week before Christmas.
Pupils at Ebrington and Lisnagelvin primaries will not be marked absent if they do schoolwork at home next week. Management said this time would allow students and staff to avoid risking any two week self-isolate period which could prevent them seeing family at Christmas.
