Council gritters are set to be out on the roads from 3pm today (Monday) ahead of another night of frost.
Lingering fog and icy stretches is continuing to cause dangerous driving conditions in some inland areas today.
Tonight will also remain cold, with lows of -1 to +1 degrees Celsius. Met Eireann is warning that there will be more frost and icy patches. Tonight will also see scattered showers and some clear spells.
Donegal County Council has issued a notice to say that all main routes will be gritted from 3PM on Mon. 07/12. Gritters will be out again on Tuesday morning from 6am on all main routes.
