Fourteen more people have died with Covid-19 in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health reports.

351 new cases of the virus have been confirmed in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours, including 28 cases in Derry City/Strabane.

The Covid-19 death toll in Northern Ireland is now 1,073.

Meanwhile, history was made in the UK and NI as the first Covid-19 vaccines were administered to two Northern Irish women.

90-year-old Fermanagh woman Margaret Keenan became the first person in the world to receive Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine outside of clinical trials. Mrs Keenan received the vaccine at about 6.30am in Coventry, England.

The first Covid-19 vaccine on the island of Ireland was received by 28-year-old Sister Joanna Sloan at the Royal Victoria Hospital at 8am.
