Covid-19: Nineteen new cases in Donegal, three deaths and 313 cases nationally

ANOTHER 19 cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Donegal today.

Figures released by health officials this evening show that the Health Protection Surveillance Centre

was today notified of a further three Covid-19 related deaths.

Another 313 cases were confirmed nationally, with 19 of those in Donegal.

Since the outbreak, there have now been 2,120 Covid-19 and 75,507 infections.

Of the cases notified today: 144 are men / 169 are women; 67 per cent are under 45 years of age; the median age is 35 years old.

Of the cases, there are 70 in Dublin, 31 in Mayo, 21 in Kilkenny, 19 in Donegal, 18 in Laois and the remaining 154 cases are spread across 19 other counties.

As of 2pm today, 197 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of which 35 are in ICU. There have been 12 additional hospitalisations in the past 24 hours.
