Covid-19: North sees 12 further deaths and 538 new cases

A FURTHER 12 Covid-19 related deaths and 538 new cases have been confirmed in Northern Ireland today.

There have now been 1,111 deaths and 57,257 cases since the outbreak.

Today’s numbers come as the Covid-19 restrictions in the North are eased.

There have been 3,091 new cases in the region over the last seven days.

Northern Ireland’s hospitals are at 100 per cent occupancy with 423 Covid-19 patients, 28 of whom are in intensive care settings.
