A fundraiser for five Letterkenny charities this Christmas is gathering momentum after reaching its halfway goal.
Christmas Spirit LK, led by Letterkenny man Pete Rose, aims to support local causes this year via a TV raffle. Donegal Women’s Centre, The No Barriers Foundation, Donegal Youth Service, Donegal Down Syndrome and Donegal Women’s Domestic Violence Service – DWDVS will each benefit from funds raised through the campaign.
A Panasonic 50″ Smart TV is up for grabs for the lucky winner.
Every €5 Donation to the GoFundMe page (https://gofund.me/54aa094b) equals to a ticket in the draw. €5 = 1 Ticket – €10 = 2 Tickets – €15 = 3 Tickets etc.
“Christmas Spirit LK was founded on the belief that we could be better& we could do better, but especially at Christmas,” said Pete Rose.
“It’s been a rough year for a lot of people this year. So we hope that our efforts this year will bring a smile to your face, help spread a little joy and Love and as always, keep you in the Christmas Spirit.”
The 2020 campaign was launched alongside a heart-warming video filmed in Letterkenny and Ramelton, featuring local actors Ethan Barron and Maria Howard who share the message of ‘Christmas is Love’.
