A Letterkenny primary school has proudly presented €2,850 to support St Vincent de Paul this Christmas.

Woodland NS embraced the spirit of goodwill at their recent Christmas Colours Day fundraiser. The community raised a fantastic sum, which was presented to Kathleen Ponsonby from St Vincent de Paul, Letterkenny today. Two members of Woodland NS Student Council, Alannah and Cara, met Kathleen for the presentation.

A spokesperson for the school said: “We are so grateful to the SVP for all the work they do on our behalf to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

“We are also so grateful to our incredible parent body and staff who have given so generously to this worthy cause.

“Thank you all.”
