Sixteen more people with Covid-19 have died in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health reports today.
Twelve people passed away in the past 24 hours.
A further 439 individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 in the region. Hospital occupancy rates are 100% in Northern Ireland today, with 447 Covid-19 patients receiving treatment.
Meanwhile, the Executive has voted against imposing a travel ban from Great Britain into Northern Ireland. Due to concerns about a new variant of the virus, the Republic of Ireland has extended the ban on UK arrivals until 31 December.
