Information sought after attempted burglary in Ballybofey

GARDAÍ in Ballybofey are seeking information in relation to an attempted burglary at the weekend.

The incident occurred at a house in Cois Na Finn, Ballybofey between Saturday the 19th of December at 9pm and Sunday the 20th of December at 9am.

Damage was caused to the door handle of the house but entry was not gained to the property.

A Garda spokesperson said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity of any sort in the Cois Na Finn area over the weekend to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
