ARDARA GAA club is seeking a further development at its Pearse Park home.

In a month when it was granted permission for the erection of a new gymnasium at training room, plans have been lodged to develop a new training facility.

Ardara GAA Club Chairman John McConnell has sought planning permission for the development of an all-weather training facility and associated site works at the Kentucky facility.

A new floodlit playing pitch, complimented by the addition of a state-of-the-art clubhouse and adjoining spectator stand preceded the club’s hosting of the Comórtas Peile na Gaeltachta finals in 2015.

A fitness room was officially opened in the spring of 2016.

Pearse Memorial Park was named as Donegal and Ulster Ground of the Year in 2015.

Donegal County Council say a decision on the new application is due on February 23, 2021.
