Motorists are being urged to take extreme care this morning due to black ice and snow.
A night of freezing conditions has created hazardous areas on roads in the county.
Council gritters were dispatched to all main routes from 6am. However, road users should assume that no road is ice free.
The Muckish road between Falcarragh and the back of Errigal was closed last night due to heavy snow. Please avoid this road and please drive with extra care as there are reports of heavy snow in many other parts of the county.
