There are now 45 patients at Letterkenny University Hospital with Covid-19.
The latest figures, released by the HSE, show that three patients remain critical are are in intensive care.
The number of confirmed cases at LUH rose by four yesterday.
There was a total of eight suspected cases of Covid-19 at the hospital at the time of the report. A double-test approach is being taken at LUH during the pandemic.
The hospital had 5 general beds available and one critical care bed remaining last night.
Nationally, the hospital situation is worsening, with Covid-19 admissions rising by 70-80 patients every day. There were 817 Covid-19 patients in acute hospitals nationwide this morning – twice the number this day last week.
